We produced 2,300 bottles of this wine from vineyards located in Almeirim. Displays ruby color. In the nose is very intense, complex, hints of ripe red fruit and blackberries, a balsamic touch of the barrel. In the mouth, it’s balanced, very elegant, good acidity, long finish and pleasant persistence.

Vineyards
Unilateral cordon training system. Sandy loam soils with rolled pebbles. Low yield per plant.
Grape Varieties
Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Viogner.
Vinification
Harvest by hand. Fermentation in wine press. Prolonged skin contact for 4 weeks. Malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels followed by 6 months aging in bottle.
Longevity
6 to 8 years.
