We produced 2,000 bottles of this Douro wine from the Vale Mendiz region. Displays garnet color. The nose is intense and complex with hints of black cherry. In the mouth it’s full-bodied, balanced and with a pleasant finish.

Vineyards
Old vines with an average age of 70 years. Schist soils.
Grape Varieties
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz.
Vinification
Harvest by hand. Fermentation in wine press. Prolonged skin contact for 4 weeks. Aged for 20 months in French Allier oak barrels followed by 12 months aging in bottle.
Longevity
10 to 12 years.
