We produced 2,400 bottles of this Douro wine from the Douro Superior sub-region. It presents great aromatic intensity, with hints of black fruit and rock rose. In the mouth has good balance, structure and a persistent finish.

Vineyards
Vineyard in terraces, planted at 350 meters altitude. Schist soils.
Grape Varieties
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz.
Vinification
Harvest by hand. Fermentation in wine press. Prolonged skin contact for 4 weeks. Aged for 16 months in Allier French oak barrels, followed by 12 months aging in bottle.
Longevity
6 to 8 years.
