We produced 1,000 bottles of this “amphora wine” from the Portalegre sub-region, from vineyards located in the Serra de São Mamede. The nose is intense, complex and with notes of fresh fruit. In the mouth it’s smooth, fresh, with mineral finish and good acidity.

Vineyards
Traditional “Gobelet” training system. Old vines with an average age of 60 years planted at about 600 meters altitude. Schist soils with some granitic outcrops.
Grape Varieties
Arinto, Bical and Malvasia.
Vinification
Harvest by hand. Fermentation in old amphoras. Aged for 6 months in Terracotta amphoras.
Longevity
2 to 3 years.
