We produced 1,000 bottles of this “amphora wine” from the Portalegre sub-region, from vineyards located in the Serra de São Mamede. The nose registers clayey hints, fresh and with an herbaceous touch. In the mouth reveals mineral flavor, with good acidity and mineral freshness.

Vineyards
Traditional “Gobelet” training system. Old vines with an average age of 60 years planted at about 600 meters altitude. Schist soils with some granitic outcrops.
Grape Varieties
Trincadeira, Castelão and Moreto.
Vinification
Harvest by hand. Fermentation in old amphoras. Aged for 6 months in Terracotta amphoras.
Longevity
4 to 5 years.
