We produced 10,000 bottles of this wine from the Portalegre sub-region, from vineyards located in the Serra de São Mamede. Reveals rich and complex aroma. In the mouth shows good balance, smooth tannins, mineral freshness, with a long and persistent finish.

Vineyards
Traditional “Gobelet” training system. Old vines with an average age of 60 years planted at about 600 meters altitude. Schist soils with some granitic outcrops.
Grape Varieties
Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and other natives.
Vinification
Harvest by hand. Fermentation in “trunk-conical” vats and wine press. Aged for 14 months in Allier French Allier oak barrels.
Longevity
6 to 8 years.
